Water politics
Water politics started to create some tremors across our neighboring states.
The point of disagreement between two states once again cauvery waters. To add to fuel tamil film industry has taken up the issue to create more publicity to it. Do these politicians, actors, actors cum politician, politicians cum actors understand the sensitive nature of the issue or not?Are they trying to portray themselves as Demigods? What do they achieve by rallies or hunger strike? Doesn't it create more acrimony in other party? What are they trying to prove here? Funny part of it is.. the president of actors union has issued a notice saying that the actors born kannada but working tamil movies also need to participate or face noncooperation. what a joke... Kannada film industry is way ahead by trying to ban all non kannada movies in their state. good luck watching those classics being produced by kannada industry
I have a question.. A tamilian who is in bangalore working should he take kannada side cause he is working in karnataka or take tamilnadu side cause he is tamilian? Same with kannadas in Madras. What if someone has tamil father and kannada mother?
How many times have the actors solved the problems of common man by stage shows?
Some times I feel as andhriites are happy souls with less linguistic/cultural franetism.
Rest in peace.

Telugodu
This blog is aobut some ramblings,my take on anything related to telugu. Please feel free to leave a comment on anything I post.
As the saying goes .... If two tamils meet in anyplace outside tamilnadu, they speak in tamil .If two malayalees meet outside Kerala, they speak in Malayalam. If two telugus meet outside Andhra, guess what they speak in English. Do we call it getting blended with new environment or ignoring the roots?...the answer is entirely personal I believe.
Late N.T.R started the concept of teluguvadi atmagouravam......though it was started for political reasons, it did have an impact on our sense of self respect.
There are lakhs( may be millions ) of telugus who live outside andhra but rarely do other people know about our culture and our language.
For northindians anyone who doesnt speak hindi is madarasee... Is it recognition for tamilians or underrecognition for other languages?
There was a scene in movie chakde india where the girl from andhra says there is as much difference in andhrite and madarasee as of biharee and delhiite. Does it mean the understanding of people is changing or the director is better educated about different cultures?
thats it for now.
cheyyetti jaikottu telugoda :)
